This is likely in response to Snapmaker's U1 kickstarter that just launched today. The U1 comes with 4 tool heads. So if you want to do multi-color or multi-material, you'd waste significantly less material while also completing the project significantly faster. And of course it's cheaper than X1C Combo and the X1C alone with the early bird price. So imo, the U1 is a significantly better buy for multi-color and multi-material. The closest thing Bambu has is their HD2 combo, which is $2.3k and only has 2 tool heads.

snapmaker is brand new. You are risking your money on a new tool. Wait for the reviews and double check before you make the decision

Snapmaker is not brand new, they already have a filament 3d printer released years ago.

Ack, this is the printer I really wanted but I just ordered a Elegoo CC the other day. Should I return it and get this? New to printing but have been using a Prusa mk3 at the local library for ~month.

The rumored H2S could be the reason as well. Either way, that is an amazing price.

Nah, keep the CC. It's an outstanding price and product. Especially with whatever ams they'll release by next month, will be significantly cheaper.

I'm so tempted to buy 4 of these to upgrade my P1S; I wished i had waited for this sale instead of buying the P1S during their anniversary.

Thirded - however the Bambu does have a useful app if that is important to you. The Elegoo app does not support the CC yet.

Thank you for informing me about this. This is exactly what I have been wanting as an upgrade from my k1c.

Not worth it for me. 1 got 3 P1S with the AMS2 from MC. Instead of getting a H2D.

what I'm afraid of is that they will put the P1S on sale next maybe for 500$ which is a much better deal 2 P1S combo = 1 X1C combo.
