$5 more than an american console. i'd rather pay the tax for the warranty and peace of mind but that's just me

Does anyone know if switch has region compatibility ? meaning if i buy games from Asia, will it still work ? I assume in this case, an imported version will still run games purchased here in the US?

Switch 2 is region locked for Japanese version only for those wondering.
Not worth it though for only $5 savings and it is available everywhere

global version of the Switch 2 is region-free and can play games from any region.
japanese version is region locked

Is this a European console? I read Nintendo won't brick a European consoles because of their consumer laws.
