Two very different units. The AC300 is an inverter only (no battery) that outputs 3000 watts at 120v. It requires one or more external batteries such as the b300k to operate. You can combine two AC300 units with a parallel kit to achieve 240v split-phase power. The Apex 300 is a self-contained inverter and battery that can output 240v split-phase with a single unit. No external battery is required, but it can be expanded with extra b300k batteries. To save space and cost, there is a relatively low-power solar controller on the Apex 300 and no DC outputs at all. A larger solar controller and dc hub can be added separately if desired. Also, you can parallel up to three Apex 300 units with their Hub A1 for around 11Kw of split-phase power.
This price seems a little too good to be true since the b300k usually costs this much by itself. I'm personally pretty weary of buying anything expensive from Ali.
