I bought this one during the last sale, but unfortunately, it arrived non-functional. It turns itself off after a few seconds. I reached out to customer service, and they confirmed that the unit needs to be replaced. However, they informed me that it's currently out of stock and that I would receive a replacement once the new shipment arrives. Since then, I haven't received any updates regarding the replacement.

I bought another unit. These units work very well, and pass-through charging does work. The app is terrible on Android; I'm not sure about iOS. $0.257/Wh is excellent.

Thanks for this feedback. Things are going too topsy turvy for long distance deals nowadays.

Great price for the capacity. Especially if the tax credit still good. Prob the best I've seen yet for a new unit in this capacity range. CATL lfp cells are a plus too if that's legit, vs what you may get in other cheap no name power stations. That said. there are a few not so great things to be mindful of ...

Looks like this one cannot do AC passthru which is kind of odd since nearly any other one can.

Solar input is 60v minimum, so if you are going to use that, you need some substantial panels, or a whole bunch of them if you were thinking of throwing like cheap 12v 100w ones at it or something

Also the solar connectors look very proprietary, so if something happens to the cables. good luck!

despite that, it looks like a great buy if none of those are deal breakers for you

edit...woundman's comment sounds like ac passthrough may work now, if he is referring to ac and not solar, so I may stand corrected on that one

AC passthrough works for sure. You have to enable backup mode, and you can choose from 85%, 90%, and 95%. The unit I have now works flawlessly, but the app is not very good, so stick with the display and update the unit to the latest EMS.

What's the idle consumption with the inverter on with no load?

I see to use pass-through mode one has to select backup mode. Is backup mode persistent or does it automatically turn off after a time or certain conditions?

Anyone know what this means?

"Does anyone know if I could hypothetically use a smaller power station to charge this larger station since I don't have enough panel voltage to power the Mango?"

https://www.reddit.com/r/preppers...ble_power/

Enough panel voltage to power Mango? Like if they plug it into the wall, it doesnt work? Confused.

Does anyone know the switching speed? Can this be used as a UPS essentially?

It's persistent and never turns off.
