How well does it do with High Pike rugs and corner cleaning?

I've been using this vacuum for about a year now. It does pretty well except for high pile rugs which it struggles with. I've got two bathroom rugs that are quite high and every day the mop pad gets torn off by them. This vacuum is probably better suited for hard flooring or very low rugs

I have 3 of these. They do ok. I prefer roborock's app (easier to manage multiple devices), but this one isn't particularly awful or anything.

I feel corner cleaning isn't fantastic, but it gets the job doing. I use these machines at homes with regular pile residential carpet, hardwood, laminate, and LVT. They seem to do fine traversing such floors. Haven't tried these on the low pile washable rugs yet.

Also, I'm holding it for a sale on refurbished units for $199 which come with a 2-year warranty.

All of mine were purchased refurbished and I've never had an issue with any of them.

This. I just send it back for repair after an eight months of use, sucking power is gone, seems vacuuming motor dead.

Got this refurbished. It was new-open box. Installed hair cutter roller brush and never dealt with tangles afterward. Never gets lost like Ecovacs. Side brush sadly detaches frequently despite replacement.

I bought one and used it for 3 weeks and returned it. Spend the extra to get a roborock, the app is better and the obstacle avoidance tech is better. I'll admit this one is good for the price, but if you have a roborock and can compare this thing is lower tier for sure.

unless you get the S8... the mop feature will be better then roborocks. That is the issue with roborocks... the mop tech is not that great.
