What actually works well is the fogless mirrors that you fill up with hot shower water right before use, no special coatings that wear out, the warming of the mirror prevents the fog.

I've never had good luck with these type of mirrors being fog free. Haven't tried this brand, but they all seem to come out of the same factory oversees.

I know better, but still tempted to try it for $8.00
For me it also has a10% coupon which brings it down to $6.39 which tempts me even more to buy.

Sometimes I hate myself for spending time on SD.

One star reviews says it all - I have had fancier mirrors that can't handle the fogging. I think this goes down fogfull too.

If you run these under the shower head so they get to a closer temp to the water they will work better. That's why I prefer the "hanging" ones to the mirrors that stick directly to the shower wall. Another thing that helps is coating them (then rinsing it off) with shaving cream every now and then. Still not perfect but it helps.

Repped for the idea, but this one is $32.95! You may want to edit to add that.
I may just stick with splashing my already mounted mirror with hot water as I currently do. Wink

I got one that recharges and works pretty well! But it's not perfect.

I have a small regular mirror hanging in the shower. I take a small touch of soup on my finger and rub it on the mirror, then splash some water on the mirror, and it never fogs.

Thanks OP - I got one last year, but want a spare - same price and size

Yes, they can fog a little, but as noted, run it under water until it warms to shower temp and it is fine

Just coat your current mirror with pure dawn dish soap (no water). It leaves a coating and makes it fogless. Just not condensation-less, but I don't think anything can help with that.

I think any kind of grease/oil will technically work

I have this. it fogs up unless you run it under warm water. I use RainX to make the water bead off
