any other competing panels for the same or better price? I'm just starting to learn about all this... is this a good starter panel, or overboard?

I bought the refurb one for $180 a month ago. Looks brand new and it was solid recharging my Ecoflow River Pro. For new this is a good price.

How many Wh would this generate per day on average?

These panels have glass on both sides, so it's more likely to be damaged if you are constantly setting up and moving it around. Unless you live in a snowy area, I would stick to the regular 220W panel.

Any reason to grab this over the Renogy 200w for $115?

This one is bifacial, so better efficiency than the renogy, which is not bifacial

No you've got it the other way around... In snowy areas the benefit from bifacial will be less.
The way to use these is not laying them flat on the ground, it's to prop them up so you can get those extra Wh from the back

Wouldn't snow reflect energy to the back?

There's also the Renogy bifacial 115 watts for $60 currently in Amazon. I got 2 of these recently.

Do you have a link for the 200W at $115?

Just my experience with Bifacial, it doesn't mean you will be getting a significant more amount. I was seeing about 20% more than stated max, but you need to have something that is light reflective behind it.

Can you just plug stuff into these for power?

To charge electronics or power lights and stuff while camping? Only during the day though?

I'm not a fan of the connector design. The cables come out at a fixed vertical angle and don't handle twisting or pulling well. My wires broke from moving the cables around. I fixed it by cutting open the plastic housing with a rotary tool and soldering the metal back together.
