Recommended amount of B12 is like 2.5 to 5.0 depending on age. Some need more than others, but 1000 just seems like a ridiculous amount. I added it to my S&S, but not sure if I am going to follow though or not. Would rather have 500, which is still excessive, but not as bad.

Oral absorption of b12 is extremely poor, thats why b12 shots are so popular

It's much higher than the %DV because B12 is famously poorly absorbed through supplements, dumbass.

In fact, it's not uncommon to see 5x this dose in supplements.

The S&S 25% makes this a decent deal. The price didn't drop down to ~$7 range until August, normally this is ~$10, so the current deal is close to half off this product's average price. It's the best deal right now if you need to stock up, I'm in for 1 at $5! Thanks OP.
