Actually because they are 100% synthetic is why these are moisture wicking. Polyester gets a bad rap but polyester is much different than it was 20 yrs ago. For the price point these are decent quality. If you lose one in the wash you won't care. But yes there are better socks if you are willing to pay the price difference.

I image these will make your feet sweat and susceptible to blisters being they are 100% synthetic. I wear synthetics but not on the feet. If you are tired of shitty socks, treat your feet with some Hollow alpaca socks. I have been wearing them all summer in the south and my feet have never felt better. I realize there is a huge price difference, so this comment is more for people that want to spend more for way better quality.

'Huge price difference' is underselling it. It's $40 for 1 pair on amazon. Surely there's a middle ground somewhere else, no?

I wear these and other solid synthetic socks for cycling every day. They keep my feet relatively dry while cotton socks cause pruning from being soaked with sweat which caused calluses. And I can say I've never had blisters form while wearing synthetic socks. Then again, I don't wear poorly fitting shoes either.

I wholeheartedly agree and actually learned about how inferior plastic socks are from SD comments. After learning this, I prefer 78% or higher cotton content.

but what does that have to do with the product? theres a market and purpose for synthetic materials. we can read it. theyre not trying to hide it. you're just letting us know your personal preference. its like saying dont like colornof these socks and the black with make it hotter, and theyre cut too low. hard pass. u find that helpful?

closest alternative I could find in Cotton, and ankle length (my preference over no show),from a quick search, was:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DDK68T4N?

The big brands are almost missing from the sub-$9 price points
