Ace attorney is not for most ppl, it's essentially just reading a story. Interaction is at a minimum. Just my opinion

Celeste is one of the best platformers out there, with a good story to back it up. 92% Metacritic. Highly recommended

Best way to start is the original trilogy with Phoenix Wright. But this seems to be a completely different character in a different time period. So you could play these without having to play others.

Agreed. It's brutal on purpose. Fun to see how many deaths at the end of a level.

Darkwood (survival horror) and Salt & Sanctuary (2D souls like). Also, I hear good things about PowerWash Simulator. Thanks OP! Wink

Powerwash Simulator is a fantastic relaxation game. Cozy as some would say. My partner and I play co-op while chilling after dinner. It's very low stakes / no pressure but finishing a level feels rewarding as heck.

celeste is super boring. i never understood games where developers have a much easier time making levels because they can setup custom checkpoints and even slow down the game so that they can test to make sure the levels are beatable.

it's like jump king. you think the developer is going to start all the way over if they fall down? nope. they just restart and try the jump again. then they punish the player by forcing them to start halfway back in the level. what fun is that?

I also recommend Celeste. I don't really like platformers but the story and flow was great. The default difficulty is high but it does do a good job introducing mechanics etc. Also you can enable various assists which is what I did.

I haven't played Disgaea 5 on switch but it's a great rpg, and Ace Attorney is also a good buy (sort of a visual novel plus a bit of puzzling/adventure game.
