much like the credit card points churning game, the name of the game with things like this is earn and burn ASAP. I'm sure somewhere in the terms it states they can pull whatever they want whenever they want.

This is VC money being burnt to build up a customer base. Which means the gravy train can stop at any given moment, whether because they reach their target number of users or they run out of money.

Lastly, we live in the golden age of enshitification. Any and all businesses will slow(or fastly) deterioriate the service they're providing. Or costs will increase. Either way, it'll get shittier and shittier till you don't want to use it anymore. By then the VCs and the C suite execs will have extracted 100s of billions whether the business made any money or not.

These are OK not spectacular. I only use InKind at CPK and I could get CPK gift cards at 60%off. But you can't use restaurant GCs with InKind so it's not always the best deal unless if they up the discount.

Excellent Deal in the Austin area. I've used InKind points at: DocB's (Domain), . Mia's Italian Tapas & Bar, and Peached Tortilla. I discovered Kesos Tacos thanks to them. Wish I had bought more last time they had an extra % off sale.

Yes you can - at least I was able to use it at Grimaldi's. Give them the GC to pay part of your tab then have them bring you a check for the remaining balance. Pay that using InKind.

I have also used the InKind promos to buy GC, it doesn't validate "what", just "how much".

I was hoping this would eventually be talked about. So it is possible to just buy a restaurant gift card and pay with inkind and apply a promo without problems? I assumed so but was hoping someone would chime in it worked. Thanks

Could be smart to buy one for your favorite restaurants on inKind because as we know they get removed without warning and this way you have a discounted gift card at least to use up all of these promos.
