Surge Protector with a bit more oomph than the typical Amazon specials, and a more confidence for your a bit more expensive electronics like OLEDs that are especially sensitive to surges. Ask how I know...

Usually $35, has great reviews, and probably one of the cheaper quality surge protectors you should trust.

This one is also actually UL listed. Bunch of the Amazon are not. UL listing matters.

of all the deals where a lazy copy/pasta would've worked, this is it

"Monoprice 8-Outlet Rotating Surge Protector Power Strip - 2160 Joules, Clamping Voltage 330V L‑N, 400V L‑G, 400V N‑G, 6ft Cord"

and amazon have joined the fun

I have used this for a while. It sounds like a good idea but in reality it may be dangerous. Because every socket is rotatable, some plug can be pushed in an angle with the pin exposed.

i don't know, maybe apple can help answer that question?

seriously, back in my college days where we have to study in the library with 4 people sharing the table, one that i fear the most is someone has a mac book... because you can be sure that mac book's fat ass plug is going to occupy the entire 4 slot standard outlet you find in the library. i don't recall a single none mac book during my college time has that design where the AC/DC converter is on the freaking plug

It appears that has been the price on Amazon the past month and a half. Otherwise it tends to be around $25-$28. Looks like it's normal price before 2020 was $19
