A protein powder that doesn't taste like a children's cereal sounds pretty good to me. Gonna have to try this based on your recommendation!

That's because there is no "chocolate flavoring" in this protein. Just something called, "cocoa powder", whatever that is.

Exactly. Hate stevia. BJ's sells "organic carrot juice" that contains it!!

That should be illegal.
oh please. You consume much worse and you demonize stevia like it causes heart disease 😂

Is 20 pound for the weight like 30 pounds if a guy lifts? No gym for home, work out floor with 30, but is it for 20 like 30 lb when you no lift it to be for men, for 30 lbs instead? or half is 10 for 20 pounds?

These protein brands are cholesterol bomb.

Check nutrition before buying.

I want to love the Levels vanilla because it mixes so easily but my god, I've bought it 5 different times now and with each purchase, it tastes like the recipe was changed every single time.

Speaking for myself, I don't demonize it for causing any problems because I simply don't know. I demonize it because it tastes absolutely revolting. Similar to sucralose. When I accidentally drink something with these in it, it takes about 3 seconds to realize my mistake and 30 minutes to get the flavor out of my mouth. This is not true for everybody. Some can't taste it, or perhaps don't care. But lots of people can and do.

It's whey protein concentrate unfortunately. I will stick to ones that are isolate. Much easier on the stomach.

Do a bit of research about cholesterol before making these comments. Many studies have shown that dietary cholesterol does not have a significant impact on blood cholesterol levels.

I completely disagree, as I would consider stevia and monk fruit extract to be artificial sweeteners. See my first post.
You may not like the taste of stevia and that's understandable. Most people will prefer the taste of sugar cane based sugar. But that doesn't make stevia an artificial sweetener. The thing with sweeteners is that whichever one you grow up with will seem natural to you. Folks in southern china who grew up with monk fruit based sweeteners, or those in Paraguay who grew up with Stevia based sweeteners will find even sugar cane based sweeteners 'artificial'.

You sure you are not confusing stevia with an artificial sweetener? Stevia is a plant extract. Why would stevia make it not organic? If the stevia plant was grown within the norms of organic farming, it would still be organic. If the product had high fructose corn syrup, it cannot be labeled as organic cause the syrup is extracted from corn that is typically grown using synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.But stevia plants can absolutely be grown without synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.

It's not sold on stores. The only large package protein they seem to sell in the store is the Kirkland brand. That one is $50 in store and $55 shipped for just a bit less weight (5.4 lbs), vs. $55 shipped for this product at 5.64 lbs. Based on reviews this seems to be a better product however, and so this is a decent deal; but nothing exceptional. If you happen to need protein powder might as well give this a try.

This doesn't mix perfectly well like the kirkland protein powder, On Gold, and the ascent whey. It leaves tiny clumps.
The Kirkland stuff is some of the only protein powder in 20.yesrs I couldn't choke down and had to return it. Absolutely awful.
Also not a fan of the Kirkland whey protein at all. My kitchen/pantry is slowly being taken over by Kirkland products, and I think this is the only Kirkland-branded thing that I've been pretty disappointed with.

My store has Ascent ($50), Optimum Nutrition, and ISOPURE.
I went with Ascent because isolate is easier to digest, less likely to cause gas, and lower calories per gram of protein, and because I already know that Ascent tastes good and mixes very easily. I was seeing some mixed reviews on the taste of Levels.
When you break down the grams of protein per dollar, the price isn't that different. Levels on sale is about 11% cheaper per gram of protein.

Ascent = 62*25 = 1,550/50= 31 g/$
Levels = 80*24 = 1,920/55 = 35 g/$

Contains stevia and monk fruit extract. Pass.

Get unflavored isolate with no added junk and flavor it yourself.

Any brand suggestions?
I just get the cheapest grass fed whey isolate unflavored on amazon that I can find, as long as reviews are good. The last brand I bought was Opportuniteas, on sale.

Still more expensive, but well worth it! nod
