This looks like a great deal. Anyone have experience with this tool? Thanks, OP. Repped!

These types of sharpeners don't effectively sharpen a blade. They create tiny rough edges that quickly round over, so the sharpened blade dulls faster than if you used a belt-type grinder or stones.

A Worksharp electric sharpener, though considerably more expensive, is the way to go if you want a convenient and easy method to reliably sharpen your knives. Or if you still want cheap-ish and easy, check out the rolling ones. They wear out faster but are pretty fool-proof - https://a.co/d/6gxYPC7

They smooth out burrs so the knife feels a little sharper, but since it's sharpening at a small area, rather than over the full blade, they tend to make divots and chips worse

2 yrs on Amazon and only 13 reviews! Only 2 written reviews and surprisingly both 5s. Seems somewhat shady to me.

I have one just like this (probably same factory) and it works fine.

These make a knife seem sharper shortly, but quickly seem duller. So you use them more often. They damage the blade so fixing it is harder.

If you have super cheap knives its fine. Anything else, get a reasonably priced whetstone and learn to use it (not hard). Will stay sharper way longer, work better, and the knife will last you a lifetime (or longer) with only basic care.
