I said normal price, not sale price. I didn't say it never went lower, I was pointing out the $279 "normal price" was wrong.

To be clear, price tracking shows "normal price" for this is usually $200. This is still saving $37 at least, but $279 is the highest it's ever been lately, and it doesn't stay there long.

Bought this on a deal couple years back - love it. Hardly any issues and a great soundbar for the price.

I bought one of these about two years ago to mount behind my recliner and it is amazing. Just recently bought another to replace the one under my TV, just so I could use the same remote. It's not big and heavy with huge bass but it'll rattle the wall a bit during parts of movies if it's turned up. Where it becomes amazing is the clarity. The other soundbar was a $350 Samsung that was much heavier and had good bass, but there were so many little background noises in sitcoms I watched on repeat that for years I never knew were there, but I can hear every little sound on this Bose. I waited for it to go on sale for $199, which it definitely is not "regularly" at from my experience, and just paid that $199 for it about a month ago from Best Buy so I'm sad to see this deal now, trying to figure out how to hook up a third just so I can take advantage of this price. There are many more much expensive Bose soundbars of course, but for this price I think it delivers well above and beyond

Lies! I got this for $150 last year - ended up returning it though - it's nothing without a sub.

If you were trying to get to replace your living room setup, sure. It's more than enough for a bedroom.

Maybe for you it is nothing without a sub. For others who are just looking for better sound than what the TV produces along with a little surround capabilities, this might work great for them.

Anyone know how this compares to the Bose soundbar on sale at Costco this past month for $149.99? The only difference I'm seeing is that this has eARC support

Good reliable soundbar. Bought one for my parents and inlaws sometime back. It does feature voice clarity mode too to help hear dialog.

I bought this a while back from Bestbuy for $199, and it's actually a great subwoofer if you have a family member who can't hear the TV well. My only problem with it is the fact that it can't be auto paired with an Apple TV like most soundbars and forces automatic shut off if there's no activity from a device for 20 minutes, so you have to turn it on and pair it manually every time. Saves power, but drives you crazy if you have someone who pauses and walks away. This should be a option you can disable

Can you turn off the automatic shut-off using one of the Bose mobile apps? I am able to do that on my Bose 500 Soundbar. Thinking of getting the Bose TV Speaker for my parents, but my dad pauses all the time for long periods.

Late on the reply, but I'll give it a shot right now.

EDIT: Sadly it didn't work. Even tried unpairing and repairing and the app couldn't see it

Bose has like 5 apps. It's annoying, and none of them are that good. Maybe it would show up in one of the other ones.
