Go to Aldi and look for their Deutsche Küche branded cookies when they have German week (coming in September) - they have different variations of the Bischoff style cookies sandwiched with different fillings including cream, chocolate, and cookie spread. Should be cheaper and have more variety.

These will be the U.S. version recipe made in North Carolina, not the ones made in Belgium. These will taste like a cheap knockoff. The last time I got some, I licked the cream off and and could tell their cheap granulated sugar that they use didn't dissolve completely.

Costco doesnt carry the cream filled ones until the Holidays, and it'll be more expensive than this to pay for the metal tin container they come in.
