I love this machine. Plus version is good also but I think this is one of the best for your buck. $270 is a steal.

Don't get me wrong, I love saving some money, but I don't consider less than 10% off a slick deal.

This model had msrp of $350 and was just recently lowered to $300. Ive had mine since 2020 no complaints except mandatory cleaning every 100 cycles.

Honest question, not trying to be snarky, but why is mandatory cleaning after 100 cycles a downside? Seems like a good reminder to avoid buildup.

I use low mineral content water which doesnt cause limescale. 2nd i like to purge milk after steaming milk and that which technically adds an extra cycle. If i make 2-4 espresso drinks per day I have to go thru cleaning cycle every 2-3 weeks. Its quite annoying when it happens in the morning since theres no skip i will do it later tonight button.
