I bought these awhile ago and really don't notice any difference in drying time or clothes coming out any different then w/ a dryer sheet. I wouldn't waste the money.

Dryer sheets don't really do anything other than deposit chemicals on your clothes. Laundry balls are definitely not a "must," but you may be better off just skipping the laundry sheets
