I had no issue finding serial number and registering for the warranty but I honestly don't care about the warranty. All my Bosch batteries that I ever purchased went well pass warranty and I'm currently into year 7-8 on the batteries. I use them everyday at work, heavy usage and zero issue, my Chinese made knockoffs lasted me 6-12 months tops. That is my experience, I know people who use Bosch tools for home usage are in a different situation so I do understand the warranty concerns.
