I'd be in an underground bunker when that time comes, but there is hydroponics. I still need salt, black pepper, and sugar for taste.

There is a protein bucket as well. Protein is much more expensive than carbs for obvious reasons.

For a more budget friendly shorter term prepper option, canned tuna can last 5-7 years if stored properly.
