Funny, I've had 3 LGs, a Sony and a Samsung that all had problems within 2 years
My Hisense sets are running smoothly. Only had to replace a 15 cent capacitor in one, and it's been going for 3 years since

Yeah, you take back panel off, take out the old capacitor, insert a new one, solder it and screw the back back on. The solder doesn't even have to be neat or accurate (like a Playstation mod)

the picture quality is great, I don't need the super expensive crap, as long as the picture looks good and my games look good, I won't complain.
