Avoid at all cost. A few bucks isn't worth the health risk.

Could she be promoting her own country products regardless?

That wasn't the point. What she is saying is a confirmed and widely known fact. I used it as a quick and easy reference. It's like linking to a video where someone says excess sodium intake is harmful to health. You wouldn't dispute that just because no source is listed. It's that level of information. I assumed most people knew that about Chinese garlic by now, but I guess you weren't caught up on it.
Feel free to google "china garlic dangerous" and see all the grifter websites that popup. Pretty much no credible sources.

I doubt you have the ability to read this, but this is explaining how the Japanese dept of health added a new policy to monitor garlic imported from China because Chinese garlic was confirmed to contain pesticides greater than what is allowed by regulations. This is from last year. What's next? You are gonna insist that the Japanese government is doing that based on random information from the Internet? lol
