A little Elden Ring session; Admittedly it didn't play it locked at 60 fps, but it plays well enough. Are there any specific games that you want me to test? I'm going to try Elden Ring again once my 12GB SO-DIMM arrives from Amazon today to rule out any single channel RAM bottleneck(s).

Nothing specific. I JUST bought this as a replacement for my son's gaming laptop that died. He's most likely playing MOBA and FPS type games. The 12GB worried me, but since it's upgradeable it's an easy fix.

Heat dissipation would probably be my main concern.

Thermals have been rock solid for me. I normally replace stock thermal paste with PTM7950 on laptops immediately but I'll hold off on this until it shows any indicators of the stock paste drying up. I ordered a 'Crucial DRAM 12GB DDR5 5600MHz Laptop Memory CT12G56C46S5' SO-DIMM on Amazon for $36 as a cheap RAM upgrade.

Give me a little while and I'll run some benchmarks on Fortnite, Apex Legends and Counter Strike 2 for ya. My only complaint so far is the massive amount of bloatware that comes installed in Windows from Lenovo; I highly recommend installing Windows 11 fresh from a USB drive to get rid of the junk software.

Awesome. Thank you! I'll order the DRAM as well.

How is the build quality on this model? Fairly sturdy or flimsy plastic?

Fairly sturdy, there's a slight amount of flex in the keyboard deck. But to be expected at this price point. Hinges feel solid -- and there's generous intake/exhaust openings on the back/bottom of the chassis. I also like that a lot of the I/O/power ports are on the rear of the laptop versus on the side(s).
