The quality likely is not good for this price I've own dash cans for over 17 years. The quality It's likely SD or VHS looking BUT any dash cam is better than no dash cam so buy one if it's this or any other just get one as soon as you can it'll save you lawsuits insurance payments everything

Does this have any built in battery or do you have to plug in to your cig lighter. I already have a backup camera plugged in there .

This community usually likes viofo I own about 4 of the 2k quality ones and sometimes the plates are still hard to see. This one says 2.5k. when they gotta one up the competitors with something that doesn't really exist I get skeptical. But honestly for the price I'm interested. The "original" price is more then the viofos

Reviews are flowery 5s or 1s and 2s.
I suspect you'll get what you paid for, but please report back.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS. Romaan
Idk what I was thinking when I brought this but please DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. THESE ARE FAKE REVIEWS AND THIS DASH CAM IS GARBAGE. YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT GET FOOTAGE FROM YOUR PHONE OR THE SD CARD.

Any car dash camera has a built-in battery, but the camera will not last long for your trip, that is the way it is designed for. You need to plug into your cigarette lighter. For your case, buy the cigarette lighter socket splitter from eBay or Amazon to use multiple devices. Check your car hand rest compartment, your car might have another cigarette lighter socket, my SUV also had one in there, otherwise buy a splitter.

For $30 with WiFi support is a good price. I believe using your phone with its app to browse the recorded videos way better than holding the little camera to browse the recorded videos. Two years ago I bought one from Amazon and mine didn't have WiFi capability, so it is pain to remember all the menu buttons to browse the recorded videos in a tiny screen. I believe using the App from the phone is way better.

viofo, cost will be at least 3x this, but you will not regret it when you need it
