The Iceland Air lounge in Reykjavik is really nice, but not for you with this price of ticket.

If I'm going to Iceland, the airport lounge is not a priority 🙄

For a deep freeze and see Igloo, then yes.

Yes, the time of the trip will acquaint you with the Icelandic saying, "There is no such thing as bad weather -- only bad clothing choices, and bad attitudes". But, yes, it will be dark and cold. But fairly good to ideal for northern lights viewing.
Didn't see any igloos when I visited. I did spend a night in a transparent and heated dome-shaped tent.

If anyone is looking to save a few bucks and do an Icelandic staycation put one of those astronaut projector lamps inside your freezer. Then turn on all of your stove burners and boil a pot of water over one of them while having food delivered from the most expensive restaurants in your area.

95% of the experience, a fraction of the cost.

You're welcome.
