It not bad if you need it right away, I'm waiting for Forge battery bundle or sub $200 with battery. Thanks for sharing! Just got M12 version, I think M18 is good for ground cutting. I'm using it while on the tree with ladder.

The cheap brushed motor on that might not last very long if you push it hard. I used mine a bit too much, it got hot and both brushes broke off. There are Chinese brushless models but they run about double the cost.

So I am newbie at buying tools.. I own a few Milwaukee tools such as edger/blower. There was a big difference between my old edger and Milwaukee edger. Would that be the same for this? I own a $20 hand held chainsaw. It works great for the price. Trying to see if it's worth it to upgrade or just purchase another $20 one. Thanks.

If you think $20 works great I think the Milwaukee would be overkill for your use case

This M18 absolutely dunks on the 'pruning chainsaw' competition in terms of power (2-3x+ the power vs most of its closest competitors), even compared to Makita's 40V which is probably the second best.

I have this saw. It's a beast. I've pushed it hard and it hasn't bogged down. I don't regret buying it, even at $299.

Does this deal work with the battery return hack for tool only?

I believe the in-store clearance price is now $240. I'm still waiting for sub $200 as someone else mentioned.

This has been one of my favorite tools I own for a year or two now. I even bought one for my dad, and I spent a bit more than this price. I haven't been able to bog it down even a little bit so far, including when I've used it to chop up small tree trunks beneath the ground.

I bought two of these off a truck for $90 each. They're new in a box. I like dual wielding zombie chainsaw.
Also they're legit Milwaukee confirmed with serial numbers.

Just got one of these the other day for $240. This thing is amazing. I use it to cut 4 wheeler trails. You will be worn the F out before the battery is done.
