I've mainly used razer deathadder mice since 2009 or so and they've helped me climb the ranks in competitive shooters and rts games. The deathadder is a legendary product even though razer as a company gets a lot of complaints about their products being bad. (usually it's their other products like headsets/keyboards)
I currently own and use both the deathadders V2, V3, in their wired and wireless models. I have very large hands, use a claw grip, and I shoulder aim. This V3 feels okay to me, not bad, not excellent because I am more used to the shape of the V2 even though the V2 is heavier.
The V2 wireless, and V3 wired/wireless all use the same optical sensor, the Focus Pro while the V2 wired uses the 3399 sensor. No problems with them whatsoever. Both the V2 and the V3 have been impossible for me to "spin out" no matter how fast I flick in games or try to make it spin out due to their excellent sensors. I've had problems in past deathadders where it would happen, but these more modern ones with modern sensors can't really spin out and track extremely well.
They use the razer optical switches (gen 2 and gen 3 for their respective versions). So far, with a ton, of constant abuse for years, I haven't had any trouble with double clicks, clicks not registering or delaying, or it breaking yet.
Overall, for 35 dollars, this is a more than excellent mouse for shooters or general use, especially if you have medium large or large hands. I like this mouse, I'm buying another wired one for 35 bucks.
