Yes, it will take a huge GPU to run AAA games on, but about the same as any 5k2k. I went with it for the strong productivity gains over more curved and smaller gaming-focused monitors.

I got this the last time it was on sale at Costco for the guarantee return if any issues came up.Came flawless and is an absolute gem with the picture by picture. Make sure you have cables to support the resolution and refresh rate.

I was in the same boat. I ended up buying it online from Best Buy because I didn't want to wait until then, but they offer 60 day returns and price guarantees if it goes lower. I was reading that they might not price match BF deals but we'll see how much lower it'll go.

Costco has it for this price with a $120 Costco Shop Card. As a previous poster mention, easy returns at Costco if you have issues. Allstate 3 year warranty is $99.
