I bought the gloss version (this is a matte screen, btw) during the holiday sales last year for $550. Ultimately returned it. After going gloss OLED, im never going back to matte screens. obviously the light conditions of the room its going in matters though. heres the rtings review of this monitor. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/re...d-pg27aqdm

i prefer woled due to the purple blacks of qled. make sure you think about the room you're using it in as if there is any ambient light, qled and gloss are not optimal. to clarify this deal is woled and matte which is great for rooms with some ambient light

Why did you return it then
poor text clarity. its even mentioned in the rtings review with plenty of results when searching google. from what i gathered, it has to do with the WOLED panel tech and their subpixel layout. i ended up with a 360hz MSI oled monitor that uses the newer qdoled panels.

What did you buy instead? I also bought the newer XG model for $584 w/10% prime cash a month ago. Seems great to me but haven't tried any other OLED.

The MSI and ASUS XG get the same 7.1 rating for office so I figured it's not much different for text clarity. The text looks fine to me, except sometimes when you first turn it on it can look a little fuzzy like it needs to warm up for a few seconds.
The ASUS in this thread has a higher Office rating than both my XG and your MSI.
