It's not so much whether physical copy exists at that price, it's more why pay so much for digital copy? I tried both these games and really not that great, ended up reselling paper mario.

Idk. I mean video game can be an expensive hobby especially when one buy too maany cheap games AND when it doesn't get completed in a timely manner. I think it an individual issue. Not the hobby itself.

I personally like to rent X games at a flat rate charge in a monthly basis, knowing that I won't be at loss compared to buying several games and then resell them for a loss. Too bad Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, and Redbox are long gone. Libraries and GameFly remained.

Did a quick 'this or that search'. Consensus says TTYD is the better option, but it also seems like Brothership has its fanbase but has some performance and pacing issues.

if possible any mario games buy physical. unless digital is much cheaper. they hold resell value although if you keep your games then not an issue.

As a 40 year old that is not super into RPGs because I don't always know where to go, I do enjoy Brothership. I have all of the Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario games (and the one that started them all, Super Mario RPG). I want to say I am a good way through. Knowing the pacing of a game you play 30-45 minutes at a time is tricky. Visually, it is awesome. I have had to look a couple things up online, but largely self explanatory based on adventure log text.

I have only beaten Paper Mario 64, the first Mario and Luigi game, and Paper Mario Origami King. I have at least started TTYD, the one with Baby Mario and Baby Luigi, Super Paper Mario, and Paper Mario Color Splash.

Paper Mario 64 was the original in the series and beloved. A majority of people seem to think TTYD expanded on 64 while being a true sequel… then Nintendo messed with the formula. The only reason I slowed/stopped playing TTYD I have it on GameCube and do not use the TV it is on much (wife and kids are usually on the other). The others I have played just got to a point where I had something else I was more interested in and didn't go back.

As the adult having to help it's really pretty painful and annoying IMO the paper Mario (similar concept) was more fun. (8yo player) think we will bail before completing.
