I did too, but having super fast charging is nice. However, this one only has USB-C, so it's nice to get USB-A plugs on the other one which is why I did that. If this has two USB ports (C or C/A) I'd probably just buy this pack as well.

Is it really better to have Anker (or other brand name)? I have a 2-pack arriving today for 1/3 this price. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F61PH...title&th=1

I do not buy any power products from "alphabet soup" companies, especially if they are left plugged in. Buy from actual companies.

People take issue with the recent Anker recalls in their battery packs. I see that as semi-positive that they even issue them. I doubt any alphabet soups are around long enough before they pop up under another name.

I believe most of the multi port will only operate at the lowest voltage device. So if there is a device on the USB-A, the USB-C will also be at 5V.
I tend to carry a A-C and C-A adapter anyways.

Consider a USB-A to USB-C (or vice versa) adapter. They're somehow like $0.64 shipped on eBay.

Anker is legit. They've been around for several years. One of the few Chinese brands I am willing to spend money on. Aukey also is legit. But you're right regarding no-name Chinese brands. Best case, they burn up and you're out a small amount of money. Worst case, you have a safety risk.
