Pull the "tab" to unlatch the sealing mechanism and put it in the dishwasher bottom down.

Great deal! I've had the older version of this for years and it's hands down the best. I strictly use it for water fyi. I use it while camping, in the gym, at the ballfield, and and while working. Super easy to keep clean.

I've also been using 2 older Contigo 24 Oz. auto seal chill stainless steel water bottles for the gym that I bought in late 2018 so I was waiting for these new ones to go on sale since the ones I have are dented up and leak a little bit.

I love Contigo products. I carry one of these 24 oz with me constantly for water. They hold ice very well. The ones I use for coffee keep heat very well.
That being said, as a financial tip, if you are going to attend a banquet such as Ducks Unlimited, Whitetails or Pheasants Forever, it is truly a bad idea to fill it with Bombay Sapphire if there are going to be auctions and raffels.

What is the alternative? Carrying water in a bag? That would be a mess.

In the 1970s–80s, bottled water wasn't an obvious business — why buy what's basically free from the tap?

Yeah this new style makes cleaning the lids way easier. There is a latch so make it accessible now under the lid.

That's why you're asking weird questions now, all that tap water.

because i can't carry the tap with me to a soccer field or cycling.

not to mention in the 70s and 80s ya all used asbestos and gave people teflon-laced cigarettes too, why would anyone still take any of you seriously.
