Doesn't seem like a great deal. Subtract $2,000 for the 5090 and you are paying $2,000 for the rest of that system. It's a nice system, but not 2k nice for the rest of that computer.

B760 also is locked motherboard with unlocked 14900KF makes no sense.

To be fair, Intel 13/14th gen ran so close to the sun anyways that it lead to its degradation issues. Latest bios and PL1 settings bring these CPUs back to a safer level but no where near the performance they "technically" were designed to run to. But at least they will run cool and stable. I recently was working on a 13th gen i7 and I'll just say I am NOT a fan of the way Intel does things.

It's definitely on the high side, you could definitely build your own cheaper. But this is a prebuilt. And I still don't know what kinda computer manufacturer Corsair is like, they always seem to miss out on Linus tech tips secret shopper for various reasons. But this price and parts combo doesn't make much sense.
