The drill is very low torque and clutchless. It also goes on sale a lot. Over half the cost of this deal is from a bunch of tools you can get at harbor freight for much cheaper. Is it that important that your hammer and screwdriver bits are labeled Ryobi?

This isn't really intended for someone already stocked up on tools. It seems to be aimed at somewho might need a basic kit for simple tasks. Like an apartment dweller or first time homeowner.

For someone who own a lot of Ryobi tools, the drill one is the one that I need for the drilling purpose. I bought a combo of drill + Impact Kit for $50 the other day.

Yeah you ain't getting all this at harbor freight for $80 lol the brushed 20v drill kit alone is $55, much rather start in the ryobi cordless ecosystem as well.I have a few hand tools from direct tools sales, they are pretty decent, def a bit above harbor freights bottom tier line

Come on man, compare apples to apples.

A more direct comparison to this Ryobi is the Warrior 18V 3/8" at Harbor Freight for only $30. The $55 drill at Harbor Freight is the Bauer 20V 1/2" 2-speed, which compares to the $80 Ryobi 18V 1/2" at Home Depot.
