I have this, but not with the belt in WI. Fi, I had to buy it separate. it works pretty good especially for 100 with wifi. fingerprint works good unless it's wet. you can unlock or lock from your phone but you can't tell at least on mine of it was already locked or unlocked. so unless you know for sure before it's a 50 50 chance that you're locking or unlocking. other than that it's pretty flawless. it gives you notifications and you can set it with a pin or fingerprint or even just use your phone. it also comes with some weird keys but I believe I got 5 or 6 of them. I have had mine for about 3 years. I use energizer Lithium. they seem to last the longest.

Not related directly to this deal, but Eufy's support is pretty poor. I have a video doorbell that got replaced 3 times under warranty, not because I asked for a replacement, but because I asked why the software was recognizing the tire of my car that was parked in the driveway as a person, but wouldn't recognize an actual person walking up to the door. They could not provide an answer, nor did they even investigate. The day the warranty ran out, I asked the same question, The response was since the doorbell was no longer under warranty, they couldn't talk to me.

Beware.

FWIW Eufy is really bad. I have a few cameras and the base station and they are super inconsistent on what and when they record. I've ended up installing secondary cameras anywhere I have a Eufy one and it's astonishing how much they miss.

I have the e30, bought it back in March. It's a battery hog. The fingerprint and keypad is great. Took a bit to get Matter setup on it, but I got it working on SmartThings now, and it covers over to Google Home as well (via Matter).
I'd suggest getting the one with the battery pack instead. It's only been 5 months and I've gone through 2 sets of 8 AA batteries.
Why not just get rechargeable batteries for the E3O?

Eufy USED to have great cameras and a fast app... then they got busted for security leaks (people watching other peoples' cameras... but if you never enabled that web feature you were fine) and then they encrypted all their cameras whether an end user wanted it or not and then they started throwing in their own ads when you open their app, and if you need support, GOOD effing LUCK!

I have been looking for a replacement for my eufy garbage (2 doorbells, 2 solar cameras, 4 360-day battery cameras). Shame really, the hardware was great until the 'improvements'.

Don't just take my word, or other peoples' word, look at their reviews in the google play store. Absolutely ratioed and for good reason!

I have this. The keyboard quit working in 6 months. It's a short so if you unplug the keyboard cable it still works over wifi but you can't use a code to enter. Eufy washed it's hands of the device and won't help.

FYI what most people are missing here is this supports Matter. That's huge
Matter over wifi ? What's the point ? They chickened out of thread I guess

Matter is open so integrate it with anything, direct to google home, alexa, and especially, home assistant. Not locked in to eufy ecosystem or app.

Do you have a link for what you bought to get wifi working? Mine always craps out and have to reset the whole device.

I have had a terrible experience with this device and I would avoid. Its a battery hog, and its very unreliable through wifi.

Who wouldn't want a Chinese company (eufy is owned by Anker, a China based company) getting daily info on their comings and goings?

From the Top Comment: "you can unlock or lock from your phone but you can't tell at least on mine of it was already locked or unlocked. so unless you know for sure before it's a 50 50 chance that you're locking or unlocking. other than that it's pretty flawless."

So the app locking/unlocking function from your phone is a toggle, not a direct command, and you have a 50-50 chance of unlocking your door remotely when you think you're locking it, and other than that it's pretty flawless?

Basically, zero entry security if you're not standing in front of it. I bet Anker in China knows if it's locked or unlocked. I'll pass, thank you.

Trying to see which is a better fit for me: Eufy Smart Lock c30 vs c34?

any major upgrades on the c34 over c30?

I dont need fingerprint on the E30 as it uses more battery, I dont use homekit/matter, I've heard the c30 has longer battery life + tactile buttons.

What are the main differences?

Thank you!

Oh, this isn't rechargeable? The battery compartment is too tight, can't fit rechargeable batteries as their circumference is a bit more than the usual batteries.

I have a S230 doorlock from 2021 that has wifi/keypad/physical key/battery pack, the battery lasts like half a year. Paid $220 before taxes, crazy how cheap these have gotten
