I received an N100 Nimo in laptop for free. They push the N100 vs i3 comparison, but those comparisons and reviews praising the N100 used cooling fans. This laptop is passively cooled and the N100 throttles down to something like 0.8 GHz to prevent overheating. It works fine for web browsing and office tasks, but slows to a crawl if asked to do anything else. Aside from that, the fit and finish are nice. The camera sucks. The backlit keyboard has a good feel. The decimal point on the numeric keypad is in a non-standard position which sucks if you are used to using it a lot. If your use case is that you'd be fine with a Chromebook, but need Windows to run office software locally, this laptop would work for you.
