Tried my best to get one. It wouldn't add to my cart. Tried multiple times. Now the price is over 700 - was this just a mistake by hp?

And this is why we can't have nice things. Literally the one and only rule on SD since the dawn of time has been to never contact the seller. That means don't call them, don't contact them through the website, don't message them.
Right, so no one calls and they will definitely honor the price and ship 50,000 laptops at a big loss.

In general, you are correct but what you said doesn't matter at all to this thread.

I try to add it to the cart and it doesn't do anything. I think it's dead now.

Not the greatest specs in the world, but think for the price it's a pretty good deal that probably won't last long

True. In this case you really think HP would not notice 10k+ laptops for far below cost?

Maybe if this wasnt posted it would have stuck around for a hundred or so orders, but no way for this number of purchases.
Fair point. I just don't get the people who contacted support though. It's an obvious price mistake so when the person contacts HP they're complaining they can't take advantage of HP's mistake? That's the support issue/complaint? smh...

was able to add OLED at no extra cost, but I did have to select the blue one for $20 extra for my order to go through. The silver color would just not even get added to card. For $150 bucks, worth a shot. fwiw, I did get a confirmation email. let's see...

Dang, I fell for this and processed the order so fast through Paypal that I forgot to use a junk email address.

Also ordered multiple in different configurations in case it was an inventory issue, but did it as one order. Prolly would have been better to place separate orders to increase chances of one of them processing rather than the entire order being cancelled.

Oh well, clearly a price mistake and too good to be true....
