Really great deal. $0.86 with 15% Subscribe and save. For anyone looking to max out the limit is 20 per account (even though quantity limit on dropdown is 10....just place multiple orders to get the 20).

Nowadays, these are not any better than Trader Joe's pasta, which is $0.99 every day.

Stop buying yellow looking pasta. They need to look more white, those are the real ones. Raos has good ones. Costco has a brand Made in Italy, good value as well. Avoid Barilla if you can.

DeCecco is my go to. bronze cut pasta is such a game changer. It holds sauce so much better. it's extruded through a bronze rather than teflon die so it gets a rougher texture. Barilla is cheap for a reason.

Different people have different preferences and tastes. I like Barilla, I also like others. You can find Barilla pasta in Italian grocery stores as well, and it tastes pretty much the same there, too. It's good pasta. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Cool deal! 🤑 But quick question—what's your strategy against the bonus protein that sometimes crawls out of the box? Or do we just call it 'extra authentic Italian seasoning' and move on?

one pack $2.17, weis market local delivery. Its dead.

but what a plus getting info on good alternatives. people (myself included) think of pasta as a commodity, like salt. I made my own pasta in the past, and it was fantastic, took some work. Makes the stuff in the box seem like the cardboard it's wrapped in. I mean, I still use it, but I think when you're on the mass commodity end of things, it's splitting hairs with these brands and store brands etc.

I had a hand operated press and cutter. I bought an extrusion machine to speed up the process, think those play dough toy pasta makers. It suffers the same problem, you get weird curls, and the edges get furry which makes a big mess when you cook it. Now I have the attachments for the kitchenaid, but I have yet to go through the dough prep.
