Got one from Woot, new, a few weeks ago because I wanted a Fold with a better camera than my Samsung Fold6. I regretted nearly immediately returned it after 1 day of use. The camera is better than the Fold6, but everything else far inferior even compared to the Fold4. It's thick and clunky. The fully opened phone for some reason looks as it isn't not completely flat even though it is. The screen ratio when opened is awkward at 4:3. I couldn't get the icon layout, size, and scaling to work properly between fully open and folded with Nova Laucher. The split screen functionality has just 1 option, vertically side-by-side, whereas the Fold has both vertical and horizontal, along with additional pop-out window. There are so very few accessories options, especially the cases available. If you have never had a Fold, then it may be OK for you, but I'm so glad I could return it easily. If you ever had a Samsung Fold, I don't recommend it.

As long as it's in good condition this is a pretty affordable way to dip into the foldable universe.

Is it the same thing?

on ebay both of these terms are meaningless. they are both supposed to mean - its a used or returned phone (or trade in). someone opened the box, turned it on, turned it off. checked screen for no scratches. that's all that is required to use these terms.

Pixel Fold is mostly on par with the Fold 4, maybe the Fold 5, but definitely behind the Fold 6. You kinda made a wrong move switching from the Z Fold 6—you should've gone for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold instead.

with tax it goes up to like $490. So you save like $110. you could then sell whatever phone you have too

Buying a Pixel is like buying a Ford. Clunky and unreliable
1972 Ford pickup and Pixel 2 XL still going strong here, but okay, gloomer.

I absolutely prefer the form factor of the original Pixel Fold. I wish they would have stuck with it. YouTube videos are perfect when open compared to the boxy Z Fold line (which I also enjoy for other reasons) unless I am watching 80s and 90s NBA highlights then the Z Folds boxy design is perfect.
