Twin toddler boy dad here. These are the best bottles by far— and we've tested dozens of brands. Camelbak, specifically these, are the best.

These are my go to for my young elementary school aged kid. You don't need the straw. Ideally you transition to the screw top so you don't need to deal with extra parts to clean!

In the description it says "BPA, BPS, and BPF free" which is good.
I would've preferred Tritan though, which is better.

if you look into tritan plastic you will find it actually gives off more endocrine disruptors than other plastics. it may say bpa free but its far from chemical leaching safe. always go with stainless steel even if it is heavier. and even though not all water bottles are plastic free you can do a lot to minimize plastic, such as swapping out the plastic straws with silicone straws.
