I bought a couple of these last time around. They're great for $25~. Just don't expect the color you order. A lot of the bad reviews left were about them sending the wrong color & I ordered reds(on sale) but received blue. For less than $25 I couldn't care less. It cast great.

Also the spool tension knob clicks if anybody else prefers that.

Don't expect a miracle, these are normally $99 but they are a decent reel. I also order red and got blue. so then I ordered their 735c maverick rod that was half off in a nice blue color. If you're ok to temper your expectations these are about 80% performance of what a Shimano or Daiwa would be. I'll be using them for rigs that I don't necessarily throw all the time, but wanted to have rigged and at the ready.

bought this last time it was on sale. fished with it for a week straight in Canada. no issues at all. I'm not a pro, but really had no complaints fishing with it for smallies, walleye and northern
