Buy now or regret later, and besides oil doesn't have an expiration date, and you can also return at the store if you decided if you don't need it. Buy now or regret later.

LOL. I've been dealing with Lake Speed Jr for ~20 years.

He is neither a PhD or a Tribologist.

His undergrad degree is in advertising / marketing. When he was the marketing guy for Joe Gibbs Racing Oil (which became Driven) he took a certificate program that allowed him to call himself a Certified Lubrication Specialist.

How long is the oil shelf life? As long as it is still in the sealed container.

Please point us to the lab results that says oil degrades sitting on the shelf.

much longer than what you will need to store it for. Don't worry about it.

yeah, a shelf life of a couple million years(synth motor oil has a shelf life of ~5 years and so do the additives in it while sealed in bottle)

synthetics is closer to 10, easily.Store it normally and will be fine.

The shelf life of unopened, full synthetic oil is long enough to considered "forever".It's far more likely a person with 5+ jugs of unopened oil, who only changes oil yearly, will trade up to an EV and have no use for the oil rather than having to toss it because it's "bad".
