Does anyone trust getting bulky/heavy items from Amazon? They always seem to be packed in a box way bigger than necessary - and end up getting beat up and dented.

On the plus side, Amazon (for some reason) doesn't add the 0.60 recycling fee per 12pk (in my state) that everyone else charges.

ordered 4 for $20 without S&S. every time I order these cases from Amazon, I get 1 or 2 dented cans from every other case. it's a crap shoot but beats buying them locally and having to carry these back

Yeah I had bread floursent to me - the flourwas loose in the freakin box - and flour everywhere but packaging. You would think Amazon would have packaging down to a science - for product safety - minimal waste and cost effective savings for both material and distribution.
they have solid packaging procedures, but issue is people doing the job....Best to always complain and eventually gets back to the production floor to fix the issues.

im not worried about the packaging.. if it explodes, i file a complaint with amazon. i'm more worried about the expiration date. policy is 3 months minimum. going to a sale at a grocery store is a little bit more, but you usually have like 6-9 months to consume. i guess if you can consume that much in 3 months, its a great deal.

FWIW, I have purchased Coke 12 packs from Amazon on three separate occasions. Each time, each of the containers arrived dented and scuffed (and I'm talking about the Coke-branded packaging that was shipped inside of the cardboard Amazon box). I'd say at least half of the cans contained the absolute WORST Coke I've ever tasted, almost like it was watered down. It tasted like seltzer water with a hint of Coke. We ended up throwing away most of it.

It's nice to see that not everyone has had the same issues I've experienced with Amazon, but now I stick to buying from Target/Walmart/Costco.

Personally prefer to do this locally due to the dent/destroyed can issue. I know they usually make you whole, but if you have other items damaged along the way it's a huge inconvenience.
Target pickup is the same price for me right now

Ordered 5 Coke and 1 Sprite for $3.51 per 12-pack as the pricing is for multiples of 3. Solid price and past soda deliveries from Amazon were in decent shape with 1-2 dented cans, but none broken open.
