The speaker quality is pretty bad obviously, but the thunderstorm is adequate, that's what I use. The first white noise is ok too. Other sounds are more oriented at turning you into an insomniac psycho.

Battery lasts forever, and for $10 beats fiddling with a phone, youtube and a bt speaker.

That was happening to me at first as well. But you have to pick a different version from the same seller under "other sellers". I found a $19.99 version from Leadertrade and the coupon still works. Checked out for $11 after sales tax.

Like someone said, the speaker quality is not that good. Sounds garbled but still usable. I just use my alexa. Tell her play rain sounds.

I have two of the Pocket versions which are much smaller and got this one thinking it would have a louder/deeper sound, but found that it was only slightly louder and had an unpleasant electronic-sounding pitch to the white noise setting. It's ok but the Pocket ones are better IMO.
