"PRO" tip (sue me): This product is on DoorDash for same price. DoorDash has Best Buy coupon 20% off $50+ with code BESTBUY20, add a $10 filler item or maybe choose some other product that's on-sale.

Go even further: Buy DoorDash gift cards at 15% off on BestBuy.com to make it even better. Of course this makes even more sense with DashPass.

AA batteries kind of suck for most mice that take them because you can't use NiMH. (Standard NiMH batteries are only 1.2v and lots of mice that take AAs start freaking out after only a couple days since they're undervoltage straight off the charger and only get weaker from there)

it's a weight issue, the 2 AA's will be about the weight of a good ultralight mouse that charges via cable.

At this price, it's a no brainer even it uses micro-usb for charging. I really doubted before I got this mouse, because I used to use weighted mouse like G502 where you can add weights to your liking. But once I got used to it, I wouldn't come back. But it also comes with some downside, you can't use unifying receiver if you already have a Logitech wireless keyboard, this mouse requires a dedicated reciever since it has much much higher refresh rate than ordinary mouse.
