If you have a dent large enough for this to fit inside effectively, you need a new body panel.
Not to mention the surface would probably not be uniform enough to get a good seal.

Are these strong enough to pull dents from cars? I bought Harbor Freight dent pullers and they were ineffective.

Perfect timing! I use these to lift floor tiles to access network cables under the floor. After sitting in a hot vehicle last summer, my previous set's cups (not this brand) warped and now wont keep a suction as good as they used to. I'll keep this set in my garage during the summer until I know I'll need them.
