How . Some direction?
1. go to here: https://setup.office.co
Sometimes it will thank you for upgrading to office 365 but just keep going in this process
until you get to your office suite no.
2. Then it will say redeem your product key here: https://setup.office.co
3. After you put in your key it will show you what product your key was for.
I just reloaded my office pro 2019 on a new ssd and it told me the product at this time.
If you can do it at late night it might go faster. I am on fixed wifi in rural area so that is
a concern.
Good luck. Let me know how it went. I hope it goes fast. PS. you may want to uninstall any previous MS office suites if you have them on your computer. I would just back it up in case you got the wrong key number although I have never had a problem.
This did not work...after entering key, MS website just says "service not available"
I was pretty skeptical but really wanted my own version of office for my new laptop so I went ahead and took the risk. Immediately got an email with the activation code, so I uninstalled the preloaded office 365, followed the download & install instructions, punched in code and it worked like a charm. I'm pretty pleased. The only reason I gave it try was because it was on Slickdeals.
Do you have ms office 2024 link of Microsoft to download, i dont want to use given link by the seller.
I have validated the product key given to me and successfully validated.
I tried going to Microsoft's setup.office.com site (its a legit Microsoft owned site), and followed the instructions to download/activate and got the following error:
Service Unavailable.

I also tried separately downloading an MS Office ISO image from Microsoft's site, and a different installer/setup.exe from a different Microsoft site. Both were able to download and install office locally. But on trying to activate using the key, both attempts gave me this error:
This product key is for the volume license of Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024, which isn't installed. To use this product key contact your administrator.

when I tried to add them to my MS account and/or activate the keys directly.
I had to download the software directly from the vendors site/provided link, install, then activate.

1. Look at the email that they sent you. Follow those instructions to the T.
1. visit redeem Url : code4redeem.com
2. Enter your order number: 43xxxx

3. Click on the download link and save the Office application/script onto your machine. Make certain you download the correct one as there are links to different language versions. Don't download and attempt to install the Spanish version when you don't speak Spanish (as me how I know.)
4. Once downloaded, click on the application that you downloaded. It will begin the installation.
5. Once the installation is completed, open Word or Excel. It should ask you to activate the software. If it does, enter the key. If it doesn't ask, click on the account link on the bottom left side of the word/excel menu. It should have a box for the Office 2024 LTSC activation. Click on that and activate.
Make certain when activating that you click on "I have a product key" and not on "log into my account."
If you want a legit deal on Office 2024, try waiting until Black Friday weekend: last year you could score it plus a $25 gift card for $110 from Costco, making the effective price $85.

Edit: Failed on Edge also. On all 4 it acknowledge it as a valid key but would not download the installation program.
Edit II: I'm good, having upgraded 3 PCs. I was just trying out your suggestion as it would be an easier procedure.
