Been NF faithful for decades but NF quality has gone downhill quite a bit and they will not honor most warranty claims. BUYER BEWARE. They have pushed me to other brands.

It is sad bc NF was founded in SF. I have moved on to AER in SF, great products and great warranty.

I own this in black, got from some previous SD.

Was in Marshalls, saw exact same thing, but with Hurley logo. I forget price, definitely less than this, maybe $16.99 or something? I was disappointed and tempted at the same time. But my NF one is black and the Hurley one only comes in black, so I didn't buy a 2nd lol.

Ewww.. [.] The Patagonia Atom sling is trash because of the way it opens.. I own both of those bags and the Atom never gets used because it's absolutely useless most of the time since I cannot fully open the bag.

I literally fit more in this North Face 6L bag than the supposed 8L of the Atom, because this bag opens fully at the top. The Atom is super comfortable, but the design is retarded.

I did a lot of research on somewhat premium slings and it mostly comes down to this bag, the Patagonia version and osprey daylite sling.

I ended up getting the osprey daylite sling due to the zipper loops and 2 compartments and you can switch between left/right shoulders that you want to carry it with.

only thing that is kinda iffy is that the shoulder padding is thin.

I purchased this a few years ago. I have been using it for vacation overseas a handful of times. I just wish it was slightly bigger. Looks kind of girly for men, IMO.
