Does anyone know if this has the same DPC latency issue/same panel as the Ryzen 340 model? I actually bought one of those myself, hoping that it was just their review unit, and mine had the same problem the reviewer did (notebookcheck).

This may be an apples to oranges comparison - but stay away from these. I bought a model with a 1335U a year ago, and it has been nothing but problems. The cooling on it is inadequate and whenever it is plugged in, the computer gets so hot to the extent that it's hard to type - and due to this there are some marks on the bezel. The build quality is also subpar - I get a creaking noise from the hinges and one of the screws magically came off. If you're spending this money, just pay the $100 extra and get a MacBook because this is not a great laptop

Yes apples and oranges, at least for the heating issues. Lunar lake processors are very effficient. Good battery life, stays quiet and cool.
Build quality will probably be ok but not great, but honestly you should never compare a 2 in 1 touchscreen Windows laptop to a Macbook. Last time I checked, when i tried to touch the Macbook screen, nothing happened. I also tried to rotate the screen of the Macbook into a tablet and I couldn't doit, I almost broke it.

Yes I know it is a pretty apples to oranges comparison - but my point still stands on build quality being mediocre. And it is not worth $700 for a 226V when Omnibooks (which I've seen - they are probably better) are going for $520 periodically. If you want a good deal on one, just don't get this. They're probably just using the same chassis for years now

"probably better"? What a bizarre comment. Not in the reviews I've read.

You are just literally talking out your behind. You have no idea what you are talking about. You are going from a MacBook to an omnibook. What omnibook lunar lake 2 in 1 is 520? Please provide link. And omnibook is definitely not any better than yoga line, not even close.

Just in case anyone else hadn't heard of this before like me:

"If your computer has stuttering, audio distortion, crashes, or other noticeable problems while playing a game or working on audio production, it may be due to high Windows latency, which is an extremely important topic that is often overlooked. The term related to this topic is referred to as Deferred Procedure Call (DPC), and is a very technical subject, but this guide is going to make it as simple as possible.

A computer has DPC issues when a driver is having difficulty processing data in a timely manner, then communication between devices becomes congested, causing performance to suffer. Although this topic is aimed mostly at gamers, DPC latency is still relevant for all computers, regardless of the hardware or intent. Something that many users do not realize, is that when they are tweaking Windows to reduce resource usage, many of the gains are actually coming from improvements in DPC latency, which is a side effect of lowering the overhead of Windows."

Interesting. Downvote me all you want - I've had a bad experience with this laptop chassis, maybe they've gotten better. That's my two cents.

It was 530 a week ago, typo. Again, my two cents is that the Yoga is not great. Laugh at me all you want.

Again omnibook is not a good quality, so if you think yoga is bad, you will think omnibook is worse

This now or wait for BF? I'm in no rush. Seems like a much better deal than the one from Best Buy, which has half the SSD storage and no pen, but is only $35 less.
