I got this on prime day. vs my roborock s6 it seemed easier to create initial maps because it will drive around to map before vacuuming (only for new maps). I'm not sure what the obstacle avoidance feature is because it still gets stuck on certain rugs and will drive over chargers and towels and get stuck. it does put caution cones in the maps if it detects a new object such as a pair of shoes in its path. one negative about this model is that it really struggles to drive over the transition between my tile floor and wood floors. I had to remove the mop pad or it got stuck anytime it went into a tile room. it still gets stuck sometimes, but might get out of I ask it to try again now. my S6 never had an issue. I really like the dust bin feature. you still have to clean it out occasionally as certain things will get stuck such as small sticks.

My Dreame L10S broke after 6 months. Had to get a refund via SquareTrade.

Roborock Customer Service is the worst. They don't even have people available on phone to talk about the issues. You have to talk to customer service rep and they will pass the notes to Warranty team who are available only via email. It has been 2 months and still the issue with our Q Revo is not resolved. I'd never buy a product from them again.

This has been my experience as well. One of the best apps, and when it works, the machines are great.It has issues... good luck.

Got this for as a Christmas Present to replace our wonky roomba. On every metric this outperformed. The docking vacuum is about 90% quieter. It doesn't get stuck nearly as much. The mop is decent (but limited in its ability due to the laws of physics). Cleans better and doesn't get jammed with German Shepard fur.
I can't comment on customer service as I have not needed it.

Roborock Q8 max and just don't use the mop (don't fill the water, don't attach the mop pad).

I have both a Q8 and Q5 and the Q8 is clearly better. The brushroll design handles hair way better and is easier to clean when it gets clogged.

Roborock's naming is insane though...hard to tell which model is which because there are so many different variations.

If the Q10 really is just an upgrade over the Q8, then I'd say just buy this one and don't touch the mop.

I had the Roborock Q5 Max+ before buying the Q10 PF+(1 model year older version). I was really happy with the Q5 overall but wanted the mopping.
